Chemical engineer, PhD, MSc.

Katerina owns a Diploma in Chemical engineering from the National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master’s degree focused in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She then pursued a research career and holds a Ph.D. in Natural Products Chemistry, focusing in the discovery of anti-aging natural products from microorganisms from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while in parallel she has a demonstrated history of working as a visiting researcher in Research Institutes around Europe. After finishing her PhD studies she joined QACS Laboratories team in 2019 in the Services department, Safety Assessment and Efficacy Testing of Cosmetic Products.
