Sara Ferrando

Sara Ferrando born in Genoa, Italy, on December 13, 1974, Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Biotechnology, (University of Messina, Italy); Currently, she is Associate Professor of Comparative Anatomy at the Department of Earth, Environmental and Life Science (DISTAV- University of Genoa). She is author or co-author of more than 100 articles on peer-reviewed journal. She teaches Histology, Embryology and Comparative Anatomy, Forensic Histology, and Developmental and Evolutionary Neurobiology for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, in Biology and Natural Sciences. Her research interest, mainly focused on fish anatomy, covers all the aspect of microscopy anatomy of animals, human included.
